Making a virtue out of necessity! The founder of easy-step, Stefan Ammann, had already been successful with his staircase company for 12 years when he decided in 2000 that something new had to be launched on the market: He was tired of awkward and wobbly makeshift stairs during the construction phase and, due to a lack of practicable alternatives, developed the first easy-step construction staircase. In the meantime, the system construction staircase has proven itself throughout Germany and is in use every day on countless construction sites.
